"FREE ENTRANCE" SET-IN POCKET Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: sewing industry. SUBSTANCE: pocket has basic part, lining of basic or padding material for forming basic and additional pocket cavities. Lining may have one part folded into several layers and attached to face side of basic part in closed cavity contour, or it may contain one layer of basic lining and one/two layers of additional lining. In case lining is composed of one layer of basic lining and one/two layers of additional lining, linings cuts are fastened together to form closed construction. In case lining is formed of basic lining material, it is made shaped. Pocket is further provided with glued layer for pocket entrance portion conforming to basic part contour, and glued layer for folded lining portions. Pocket entrance is cut and entrance contour edge is secured to lining cavities by means of patch stitch allowing construction to be used in different directions and of different entrance shapes. Such construction allows processing of pocket in any entrance direction. EFFECT: simplified construction of set-in pocket, wider range of model processing of pocket entrances with different shapes of lining for pocket entrances oriented in different directions. 5 cl, 18 dwg
