GLAZE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: compositions for nephroted majolica glazes for decoration of products from ceramics. SUBSTANCE: glaze comprises SiO₂,Al₂O₃, MgO and also waste of electrovacuum industry (broken kinescope cubes), ZnO and at least one of colorants such as pyrite cinder, CaO, CuO, FeO, Cr₂O₃, MnO and NiO, ratios of components being as follows, wt.%: SiO₂, 10-15, Al₂O₃, 6-9 MgO, 1.6-2; ZnO, 1.2-4; waste (broken kinescope tubes), the balance. Total SiO₂ content is not higher than 59.83 wt.%. 5-10 wt.% of pyrite cinder are added to form brown wear-resistant coating, other colorants are added in amount up to 20 wt.%.
