FIELD: ceramic industry. SUBSTANCE: willemite glaze layer is applied onto surface of china ware and fired. Firing is carried out by heating to 1270-1340 C, cooling to 950-1000 C and once again heating to 1060-1120 C, and maintaining at said temperature for 60-120 min, and subsequently cooling, to obtain coated china ware which are peculiar in that they have high decorative properties due to recovery of individual spherolite willemite crystals of different coloring which make up magnificent compositions thus making it esthetic to loot at ware. In order to obtain decorative coating, use is made of willemite glaze which basically comprises SiO2-Al2O3-ZnO-K2O. Zinc oxide content varies from 25.0 to 26.0%. In order to widen color range frit composition contains colorants such as CoO, CuO, MnO and NiO in amount of 1-3%. EFFECT: improved decorative properties of the ware. 3 cl
