METHOD FOR REPAIR OF ASPHALTIC CONCRETE ROAD PAVEMENTS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: technology for maintenance of motor road pavements. SUBSTANCE: in addition, method can be also used for repair of asphalt-concrete pavement in airfield and on various service lines. Method implies cutting of vertical slots, removal of crushed material, cutting in side edges of remaining pavement of V-shaped recess with its apex located in middle of pavement and of depth being equal to half of pavement thickness. Surface of recess and slot are treated with binding material, than repair mix is placed and compacted. Vertical slots are cut in net-like manner. Application of aforesaid method prevents separation of asphalt-concrete mix being placed, prolongs service life of repaired section of road pavement. At opening of road pavement above service lines, asphalt-concrete blocks can be obtained which are suitable for further use. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 3 dwg
