FIELD: heating and hot-water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: heater has case with heating chamber filled with intermediate heat-transfer agent and is provided with phase electrodes, heat-transfer apparatus, and level dipstick communicating with compensating bowl. Heater case has external heat insulation whose thickness is smaller at bottom than on top and at sides. Safety valve is installed in center of heating-chamber upper wall between heating chamber and compensating bowl to prevent damage to case in case of too low temperature; dipstick is mounted on same plane as upper wall of heating bowl. Such arrangement ensures that entire volume of heating chamber is filled with intermediate heat-transfer agent and that it is free from non-condensed gases.
