FIELD: homing of flight vehicles with airborne radars using synthesizing of antenna aperture or Doppler narrowing of beam of antenna directional pattern on ground objects. SUBSTANCE: method consists in measurement of the values of the rate of closure of the guided flight vehicle and ground object, angular velocity of the sighting line in the horizontal plane, as well as lateral acceleration of the guided flight vehicle in the horizontal plane. Control signal in the horizontal plane is generated in the form of the difference weighed by the gain and the value of the rate of closure of the sum of the sighting line angular velocity and the required increment of the sighting line angular velocity, and the value of acceleration of the guided flight vehicle. The gain is computed with due account made for the values of the ranges of guidance beginning and end, and the value of the required increment of the sighting line angular velocity is formed with due account for the required values of miss, linear resolution in the horizontal plane, type of the flight vehicle and parameters of the airborne radar. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and efficiency of guidance, improved stabilization of linear resolution in the horizontal plane at guidance of flight vehicle to ground objects with the aid of airborne radar. 12 dwg
