FIELD: agriculture, in particular, feed production and storage in the regions such as extreme North. SUBSTANCE: method involves stocking green mass of natural grasses in packs; placing packs of green mass in underground storage constructed in permafrost ground and provided with inclined floor, chute and vessels; providing deep freezing of green mass by means of liquid inert gas; prior to withdrawal of feed packs, ventilating storage. Since packs of green mass are withdrawn from storage in winter, packs are not warmed up. EFFECT: improved quality of stocked succulent feeds and prolonged storage time without deteriorating nutritive properties of feeds. 1 dwg
