FIELD: lifts. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to method of control over hydraulic lift providing regulation of flow rate of working liquid. Method and device provide accurate arrival of lift cabin to floor without necessity of moving with creeper speed. Cabin is controlled at deceleration phase depending on path. For this purpose control range CS is formed which is divided into percent values. Percent values are tabulated according to measured actual values of path. At reception of definite actual path value, corresponding percent value is multiplied by value from control range CS and if necessary, control deviation value CO and tentative control signal SO is added to product. Sum forms actual control signal S in phase of deceleration supplied to control valve device. Proposed device has control device to control operation of valve device, and pickup connected with cabin. Control device has at least one tachosignal converter and path governor. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 3 cl, 5 dwg
