FIELD: ceramics, glaze making. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of glazes used for applying on porcelain articles. Glaze has the following components, wt. -%: silicon oxide 63.79-66.97; aluminium oxide 10.94-14.74; calcium oxide 9.2-10.8; magnesium oxide 4.6-5.5; sodium oxide 1.9-2.34; potassium oxide 4.07-4.57; titanium oxide 0.05-0.07 and iron oxide 0.21-0.25. Glaze properties: thermostability is 15-17 thermal cyclings; luster is 47-49%; microhardness is 6.64-6.81; melting range is 1130-1260 C; silicate modulus is 5.09-6.15; refractive index is 1.504-1.508 and modulus of normal elasticity is 7.55-7.6. EFFECT: enhanced chemical stability, luster, increased temperature coefficient of linear expansion and microhardness. 3 tbl
