FIELD: glaze manufacturing.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with applying glazes upon high-art porcelain products. The suggested glaze contains the following ingredients, weight%: SiO2 64.0-72.0; Al2O3 10.3-16.7; CaO 3.6-8.0; K2O 2.0-6.4; MgO 1.8-3.8; Co2O3 1.5-4.0; Na2O 1.3-2.5; Fe2O3 0.2-1.8; TiO2 0.1-0.7. Glaze characteristics: thermal shock resistance 15-21 thermal cyclings; microstrength 6.66-6.85; the density of normal glaze suspension 1.5-1.58; silicate module 4.23-6.2, glitter - navy blue and melting interval - 1130-1260°C. The innovation provides the recipe ranged 1130-1260°C. The obtained result - the recipe of cobalt glaze being of high art advantages being of sufficient chemical and thermal stability.
