FRICTION CLUTCH CONTROL DRIVE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2148740 C1

FIELD: devices for determination of wear of friction linings. SUBSTANCE: friction clutch control drive includes actuating hydraulic cylinder which is provided with adjustable strip with tooth. Width of tooth corresponds to maximum permissible preset amount of wear of friction linings. During assembly of drive, adjustable strip is mounted in such position that outer edge of tooth coincides with edge of clutch release fork. Outer end of fork moves from outer edge of tooth when linings are not worn as far as inner edge of tooth when maximum permissible amount of wear is achieved. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of information on wear of friction linings in the course of operation and on their maximum permissible wear. 3 dwg
