FIELD: medicine, pulmonology, pediatrics. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out of selective sanative bronchoscopy and administration of pulmonary surfactant as the preparation "surfactant-BL" which is administrated by a single dose or 2-3 times at break for 2-3 days in the amount 100-300 mg per one dose. Method provides high incidence of complete (or partial) recovery of atelectasis and decrease of patients treatment, decreases numbers of necessary sanative fibrobronchoscopies and probability of disease conversion to the chronic form. Invention can be used for treatment of children with acute bronchopneumonia complicated with atelectasis as bronchopneumonia complication.
