FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: safety syringe has hollow needle-shaped device provided with hollow needle coupled detachably to tail-piece terminated in bushing part of syringe. Syringe also includes needle head positioned on rear part of tail-piece and piston sliding in syringe and fitted with deflecting socket countersunk in it for engagement with needle head in needle-shaped device for purpose of coupling of needle-shaped device with piston. When piston is drawn in syringe needle is deflected to prevent its jutting out. As a result, various needles of different sizes may be installed on tail-piece outside the syringe.
