FIELD: production of medical instruments. SUBSTANCE: method includes extrusion of molten liquid containing cellulose acetate, solvent for cellulose acetate and nonsolvent of cellulose acetate to produce extruded membrane, and removal of solvent and nonsolvent from extruded membrane to have semipermeable membrane featuring water permeability. After removal of solvent and nonsolvent, semipermeable membrane is impregnated with liquid consisting of water to impart to semipermeable membrane the ability of its storage up to moment of its use with preservation of water permeability of semipermeable membrane. EFFECT: simplified process when membranes feature needed working characteristics, for instance, in processes of medical separation, or in blood purification. 10 cl, 1 dwg
