FIELD: hydraulic engineering; applicable in storage of wastes of industrial enterprises, for instance, ashes of thermal power plants, tailings of ore concentrations. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic waste dump includes prime embankment, secondary embankment, water catch pit with discharging collector, and gravity drainage system of deep interception of filtration flow in the form of two drains, one of which is located along primary embankment, and the other, along secondary embankment, and discharge tube at each drain. Drainage system is provided with additional pit located in plant between drains above discharge collector and hydraulically communicated with pit. Water discharge tube ends are located within working chamber of additional pit and each is provided with shutoff device. EFFECT: reduced expenditures for construction of hydraulic waste dump, higher reliability of dump and its simplified maintenance. 2 cl, 2 dwg
