FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: method for wastes storage in long-time disposal pond involves passage of dry wastes through short-time disposal pond organized within area occupied by long- time storage pond by means of levee closed as viewed on top and divided by internal dams into short-time storage sections. Disposal pond surface is shielded by polymeric film with drainage layer made above it within sections. Internal dams organize cavity for clarified water pool between short-time storage sections which provides communication with sediment pools in short-time storage sections through spillway wells with gate valves on its water outlet manifold; water is supplied from pool to water recirculating system of enterprise. Then wastes are stored in disposal pond sections in turn. After filling up each section wastes are dewatered with vacuum built up in drain layer, removed from section, and conveyed in dry condition to storage point within area of long-time waste storage pond. EFFECT: improved holding capacity of storage pond without pollution of surface and ground water of adjacent areas. 3 cl, 3 dwg
