FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: flexible member tension adjuster for load-lifting mechanisms has shaft, sheaves with flexible member passed over sheaves one of which is connected with stop of load grip, and stop lifting drive. Device has rack mechanism engaging with mechanical and electric indicators of flexible member condition and stop position. Rack mechanism gear wheel is freely fitted on shaft which carries second sheave. Safety clutch is secured on end of shaft. Diameter of above- indicated gear wheel is less than diameter of second sheave designed for taking up slack of flexible member passed over sheave. Rack of rack mechanism is spring-loaded. Piston of stop lifting drive serves as support for spring. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced overall dimensions and weight, enhanced reliability of operation of winch with controlled grip. 1 dwg
