SUBSTANCE: device to adjust tension of flexible member used in load handling mechanisms has balancer with rocker 1 and fitted-on sheaves 2 wrapped around by flexible member 3, and it has shaft 9 with counterweight 10 connected with rocker 1. Two ratchet wheels 11 and 19 of similar shape are secured on shaft 9. Frame 12 is installed for turning on shaft 9. Frame has pawl 13 fitted on axle for engagement with ratchet wheels 11 and 19. Ratchet wheel 11 is rigidly coupled with shaft 9. Wheel 19 is installed on shaft for turning and is provided with indicator 20. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
