FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to load-lifting devices built on base of hand hoist. Proposed load-lifting device has guide, hoist moved by hand, lifting and load gripping devices. Load gripping device is connected with one end of load tie-rod and is furnished with lifting tie-rod and lock. According to invention, lifting device has traction shaft and two drums secured coaxially at ends of shaft. Lifting tie is wound on and fixed by one end on one of drums of lifting device. This tie is passed over system of blocks, one of which is installed for traveling and is hinge coupled with counterweight, and other blocks are secured on guide. Other end of lifting tie is secured on hoist body, and rectilinear sections at side of both ends of tie are located opposite to each other in one plane. Load tie is secured by other end on other drum of lifting device. Lock is made in form of lever-and-ratchet double-acting mechanism secured on traction shaft for interaction with said drums and it can be furnished with sense of rotation selector switch and device for fixing the switch in position.
