FIELD: medicine, urology. SUBSTANCE: one should test prostatic secrete to determine there the concentration of diene conjugates and Schiff's foundations, then on ehsould calculate inflammation activity coefficient (IAC) by the following formula: 
where E 232/220 - concentration of diene conjugates in extinction units of SF-46 apparatus, E 400/220 - concentration of Schiff's foundations in extinction units of SF-46 apparatus and at its value being above 49.19 it is possible to diagnose minimal activity of chronic prostatitis flow, at value of 49.19-28.6 - moderate activity, and at value of 28.6 - high activity is diagnosed.
