FIELD: household facilities, in particular, hand-held device for removal of scale from fish surface. SUBSTANCE: fish scaler has plate with tenons and handle. Plate has curved portion with curvature radius of at least 5 cm and bent portion connected to handle. Plate is provided with cut-through slits whose sides define sharp tenons on plate convex side faced to fish body. Such construction allows fish of any size and convex body configuration to be effectively scaled, since scale is not accumulated below plate working surface. EFFECT: simplified construction, increased efficiency and improved safety for user. 4 dwg
