FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying accelerated electron beam. The device has electron accelerator with foil exit window which dimensions are greater than those of the object under treatment. Supply unit has carriage and drive for introducing the carriage into the zone of exposure to radiation, fastening it for the exposure time and removing from the zone. Feeding and control unit has pulse modulator unit with a transformer for pulsating power supply to the accelerator and a unit for switching on electron beam supply.
