FIELD: cleaning of gases from solid impurities. SUBSTANCE: dust separator has inlet branch pipe, tubular branch pipe functioning as precipitation electrode, spiral blades across inlet end of tubular branch pipe to form swirling dust and gas stream, branch pipe for release of cleaned gas, outlet peripheral hole for release of separated dust and recycling hole in inlet end of tubular branch pipe. Electric insulating inserts are placed in inlet and outlet ends of tubular branch pipe. Tubular branch pipe is connected to one pole of high-voltage source, corona- forming electrode with corona-forming discs installed axially symmetric on electric insulators is connected to the other pole of high-voltage source. Branch pipe for release of cleaned gas can be linked via electric insulation ring to screening grid produced in the form of cone tied to voltage regulator. Voltage regulator is connected to same pole of high-voltage source to which corona-forming electrode is connected and is meant for supply of voltage of smaller value than that supplied to corona- forming electrode to screening grid that will not cause breaking of tubular branch pipe through. Vertex of cone is connected to corona-forming electrode via insulator of screening grid. EFFECT: increased degree of cleaning of gas from finely divided particles. 1 cl, 5 dwg
