FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engine exhaust system. SUBSTANCE: porous ceramet oxidizing and reducing catalytic blocks are installed coaxially in converter housing to form space in between. Housing is provided with inlet and outlet branch pipes with flanges and auxiliary gas supply channel. This channel is connected through inner space of manifold on end face cover from side of inlet branch pipe with space formed by external surface of filter made by composite carbon material threads cross-wound in multiple layers of gauze frameworks and inner surface of porous ceramet oxidizing catalytic block. Filters made by multiple-layer cross winding of composite carbon material threads on gauze frameworks are arranged axially symmetrically inside coaxially installed porous oxidizing and reducing catalytic blocks. EFFECT: improved efficiency and quality of cleaning of diesel engine exhaust gases from hard particles and nitrogen oxides. 1 dwg
