FIELD: nuclear engineering. SUBSTANCE: arranged in vacuum chamber 1 are charged particle source 2, insulators 5, separator 6 and receivers 10 and 11. Separator 6 has tube 7 with bell mouth 8 located inside it. Tube 7 and bell mouth 8 form magnetic field with diverging magnetic barriers; they are provided with longitudinal slots 11 and 12. Bell mouth 8 is made from static magnet. Tube 7 is made from conducting or super-conducting material. Tube 7 and bell mouth 8 are bent over arcs of circular orbits of charged particles. Bend of tube 7 corresponds to radii of orbits of light charged particles and bend of bell mouth 8 corresponds to radii of orbits of heavy charged particles. Wide end of bell mouth 8 is connected with tube 7 over circumference. Charged particle source 2 is located near joint area of wide end of bell mouth 8 and tube 7. Axes of symmetry of slots lie in plane of symmetry of separator 6. Slot separates poles of magnet of bell mouth 8. Charged particles are separated on diverging magnetic barriers of magnetic field formed by tube 7 and bell mouth 8 where current of permanent direction flows. Light charged particles are accumulated in receiver 9 and heavy particles are accumulated receiver 10. EFFECT: enhanced selectivity of separation; reduced losses of agent being separated. 2 dwg
