ACOUSTIC RADIATOR Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2149713 C1

FIELD: formation of acoustic vibration in flow liquid medium that can be used in chemical, food, pharmaceutical and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical rotor and stator with channels in side walls are installed coaxially in acoustic radiator that has body with inlet and outlet branch pipes. Stator is positioned in inside space of rotor and treated liquid is supplied from side of outer surface of rotor. Rotor and stator have equal number of channels. Channels in rotor are made at angle B=arctg wRmah/Q to radius of rotor, where w is angular velocity of rotor, rad/s; Rm is mean radius of rotor, m; a is width of rectangular channel of rotor, m; h is height of channel in rotor, m; Q is flow rate of liquid through radiator, cu.m/s. EFFECT: concentration of energy of acoustic vibrations and increased intensity of acoustic field. 2 dwg
