FIELD: mining industry, particularly, methods of secondary use of used up rolling drilling bits. SUBSTANCE: bits with blocked up and worn rolling cutters are washed and cleaned from dirt. Rolling cutters are separated from bit leg and straps are welded to legs. Radial slots are milled with change of milling axis through angle α from 0 to 20 deg counterclockwise and is governed by physical and mechanical properties of handled rocks. Hole for pin is made squat to slot axis. Then rock-bearing disc is installed into slot and connected to leg by pin for disc rotation in slot. EFFECT: increased reliability and prolonged service life of bits. 3 cl, 2 dwg
