FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in various branches of industry to improve vibration characteristics of structures with rotary members. Rotary device placed on cargo-taking platform to measure its mass is set in rotary motion by way of control over its rotational speed. Maximum and minimum masses of rotary device are measured under each condition. Change of mass under each condition is determined as difference between values of mass of device measured in stationary state and value of half-sum of masses of rotary device under corresponding condition of its rotation. Radial forces transmitted by necks of device to bearings are measured by way of control over angle of turn of internal part of race with bearing relative to axis and rotational speed of rotary device depending on angle of turn of rotary device at corresponding rotational speed of it.
