METHOD FOR SIMULATION OF MOTION OF PLANET PARTS AT ITS SEPARATION Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2164712 C1

FIELD: applicable in study of the astral system, planetary motion and motion of other celestial bodies, for solution of scientific and engineering problems in astronautics, space communication, in creation of flight vehicles of new types, and for other purposes. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the fact that the base with the body simulating the planet is rotated, the compound body is installed on a pivot secured on the central cross-head, the cross-head is positioned inside the duct made in the base, two springs are placed inside the duct at a distance one from the other, the springs are contiguous to the cross-head, and the second end - to its external cross-head, the cross- head is positioned for movement, the pivot for installation of the compound body has a bent section, and the body is installed on the bent section, and the body is installed on the bent section. The drive is coupled to the shaft, the shaft rotational speed is measured and adjusted until the equality of the lengths of both springs is established for attainment of the critical value of peripheral velocity of the centre of mass of the compound body simulating the planet at the respective radius of its rotation. After that the freedom of body rotation and the freedom of separation of the body into parts are ensured simultaneously with the aid of the fixing and disengaging devices, the value of displacement of the central cross-head with the part of the body is registered, and rotation is measured with the aid of the rotational speed measuring device, and the compound body separated part path is recorded. EFFECT: experimental check of the Fundamental law of the Universal law of gravitation by simulation. 4 cl, 12 dwg
