FIELD: study of the astral system, planetary motion and motion of other celestial bodies. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in rotation of the base with a body simulating the planet by means of a drive. A built-up body is installed on an axle secured on the central cross-head. The cross-head is positioned inside the passage made in the cantilever-type base. Positioned inside the passage are two identical springs being contiguous to the central cross-head. The spring compression force is changed by means of a coupling device coupling the external cross- heads and making it possible to move them. The shaft rotational speed is measured and adjusted until the length of both springs become equal for attaining the critical value of peripheral velocity of the center of mass of the built-up body in the respective radius of its rotation. After that the freedom of body rotation relative to the central cross-head and freedom of body separation into parts are ensured by means of fixing and releasing devices, the value of displacement of the central cross-head from the body part remaining on the axle in the longitudinal direction of the passage is measured, and rotation of the above part is measured with the aid of a rotational speed measuring device, and the trajectory of the separated part of the built-up body from the part remaining on the axle secured on the central cross-head is recorded. EFFECT: provision of experimental check of Fundamental law of the universe discovered by the author of the law of universal gravitation. 4 cl, 8 dwg
