FIELD: agriculture, particularly, preparation of food for animals (horned cattle, horses, pigs, cats, dogs and birds). SUBSTANCE: food contains proteins, fats, carbohydrates, mineral substances and additionally preparation "Ammivit" at the following ratio of components, % per absolutely dry substance: raw protein, 14.0-45.0; raw fat, 3.0-15.0; carbohydrates, 18.0-50.0; mineral substances (ashes), 4.0-11.0; "Ammivit", 0.05-5.00. The preparation method includes grinding of vegetable raw material, moistening, introduction of sour, common salt, fodder additives, mixing, fermentation, drying and formation of prepared product. Before mixing of components, preparation "Ammivit" is introduced in the amount of 0.05-5.0% from the total mass of food. Introduction of "Ammivit" increases biological activity of the main components and provides for higher eatability and better digestibility and assimilability of food.
