FIELD: equipment for separation of various highly dispersed suspensions; applicable in various industries. SUBSTANCE: supercentrifuge includes tubular rotor mounted on metal shaft and having upper and lower covers attached to shaft upper and lower parts. means for supply of initial suspension is located in lower part of rotor, and means for discharge of clarified liquid is in its upper part. Rotor cylindrical wall is made of thin-walled high-strength polymer material. Rotation strength of polymer material from which rotor cylinder part is recommended to be made, exceeds or equals rotation strength of steel. Polypropylene or polyamide is recommended for use as polymer material for manufacture of rotor cylindrical part. To enhance strength of such structure, it is recommended to weave polymer thread or polymer band over entire external surface of rotor. Design of centrifuge provides for speed of rotor rotation in excess of 30,000 rpm that increases separation factor and grade of suspension separation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 1 dwg
