FIELD: treatment of sewage waters. SUBSTANCE: device for treatment of fat-containing sewage waters by filtering has housing filled with highly porous polymer media, movably installed sealing tank accommodated in housing, cover with branch pipe for supply of liquid. Cover closes simultaneously housing and tank. Installed in housing lower part is auger wound on hollow shaft with holes for steam supply. Pressing part of auger is located in cylindrical casing and provided with a plate welded between auger flights to smoothly reduce gap between casing and shaft with outlet pressing zone cross-section area to inlet cross-section area ratio amounting up to 0.1-0.2. The invention allows material reduction of velocity of treated water flow in wall zone and high-quality regeneration of filtering media with preservation of their strength.
