FIELD: fuels in metallurgy and power engineering areas. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquid fuel for blast-furnace and open- hearth production, heat power and steam-and-air-blowing stations. Liquid fuel composed of fine solid carbon-containing materials and water additionally contains fine solid materials containing carbon chemically bound with at least hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen and/or liquid substances containing carbon chemically bound with at least hydrogen. The former can be industrial or household wastes of plastics and/or gunpowder, and/or explosives, and/or solid rocket fuels, and/or paper- and-pulp production waste. The latter (liquid substances) can be spent motor oils and/or petroleum product wastes, and/or alcohols, and/or spent transformer oils. Percentage of solid materials with chemically bound carbon in liquid fuel varies from 0.5 to 60% and that of liquid materials with chemically bound carbon 1 to 65%. Fuel can as well contain 0.5 to 10% of fine solids containing of iron oxides and/or calcium oxide, and/or magnesium oxide, and/or rare-earth metal oxide, and/or free metals. EFFECT: enabled reuse of wastes with no environmental harm. 5 cl, 4 ex
