SUBSTANCE: apparatus for feeding elastic (soft) threads to working zone at time variable feeding rate has control block adapted for determining current consumption of threads or for receiving data on current consumption of threads. In accordance with data on thread consumption, thread feeding wheel is actuated at rotational speed corresponding to thread consumption value. Threads are delivered to feeding wheel through tightening device adjusted so as to tighten thread for predetermined value. Such construction provides for strict coordination between required amount of supplied threads and rotational speed of thread feeding wheel.
