FIELD: methods and devices for twisting of two or more threads or coating of one thread with other thread for obtaining twisted or coated thread just before and during use of this twisted or coated thread in looms for manufacture of knitted goods, hosieries and similar goods. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of two or more separate threads for their twisting or coating of one thread with other thread to device A for twisting or coating connected with operating station of loom; twisting of separate threads or covering of one thread with other thread by pneumatic or mechanical procedure in device A for twisting or coating with formation of one twisted thread; direction of one twisted thread to loom with controlled tensioning. In so doing, at least, one of separate threads and produced twisted thread are passed through supplying appliance, and, at least, one of separate threads is brought through tensioning means. Device for method embodiment has means for supply, at least, of one first thread and second thread and bringing them together; means for twisting of the first and second threads or coating of one thread with other thread for formation of one twisted thread; accumulator for collection and accumulation of a definite amount of twisted thread supplied to accumulator with help of means for twisting or coating of one thread with other thread, and loom is supplied with one obtained twisted thread fed by accumulator.
