FIELD: railway transport; permanent way facilities; tongueless switches. SUBSTANCE: switch has pair of movable rails 1 for connection with straight and branched tracks, electric drive 2 with motor 3 and operating tie-rod 4, one end of which is connected with motor 3 and the other, with pair of movable rails 1, cross 6 located in point of intersection of straight and branch tracks, the latter being arranged in zone of contact with cross, are made each with insulated sections 7 and 8. Rails of each section insulated from each other are connected with motor and change-over switch forming, together with motor, two independent circuits with common change-over switch 11 installed for engaging with operating tie-rod and locking of change-over switch in two positions, for switching on or off of one of circuits. EFFECT: provision of traffic safety at change-over one track to the other. 2 cl, 1 dwg
