Just before the beginning of translational motion of the solid body and in the process of the above motion ultrasonic oscillations are set up in the barrel walls. The device for projection of solid body has a barrel with a bore and projected body with a live charge, as well as an ultrasonic generator comprising a magnetostriction transducer coupled to the barrel via an acoustic concentrator.
