FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing vitrectomy. A perfluororganic substance is injected into the vitreous cavity. The lens is brought to pupil zone and removed through an incision in the cornea. An intraocular lens is implanted through the same incision in the cornea. The intraocular lens is fixed. The incision in the cornea is sealed and the perfluororganic substance is substituted with physiological salt solution. EFFECT: improved vision acuity in aphakic eye; avoided traumatic and intraoperative complications.
