FIELD: equipment for irradiation of materials with heavy ions. SUBSTANCE: device on accelerators of heavy ions for irradiation of polymer films has vacuum chamber with tape pulling mechanism, irradiation unit, feed spool, driving rollers, take-up spool, drive. Irradiation unit includes two rollers that can rotate in opposite directions which makes it possible to irradiate both sides of film. Angle between axes of beam of heavy ions and axes of radiation rollers differs from right angle and lies within interval from 84 to 89 degrees. Rotary rollers are installed in path of movement of film. Take-up spool is mounted inside space whose section presents convex quadrangle with vertexes on axes of radiation and rotary rollers.
