FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of radio engineering and may be used as radiators of phased antenna arrays of wideband direction-finding systems. Helical antenna comprises resonator and radiator arranged in the form of flat bilifar spiral fixed in plane of resonator opening, which is connected to supplying feeder. On internal and external lateral sides of bilifar spiral branches there are matching stepped irregularities. Shapes of envelopes of curved lateral sides of antenna radiator bilifar spiral branches, and positions of matching stepped irregularities on lateral sides of bilifar spiral branches are calculated according to appropriate formulas.
EFFECT: improved matching of antenna with supply feeder and increased maximum working length of antenna wave 1,6 times.
