FIELD: powered support units of breakage faces designed for operation in underground mineral mining. SUBSTANCE: joint includes supporting pivot with bosses in which through holes are made on the same axis. Supporting pivot is secured to roofing for resting on ball head of hydraulic prop having holes and rods connecting hydraulic prop with supporting pivot of roofing, pins and fixing members. Holes in hydraulic prop head are blind and located on common axis coinciding with axis of through holes in bosses of supporting pivot. Located in supporting pivot boxes, on opposite sides of hydraulic prop head, are cylindrical rods with possible axial fixing of hydraulic prop head relative to supporting pivot. Cylindrical rods have rigidly connected handles located in longitudinal openings made along axes of cylindrical rods. Square to axis of longitudinal openings, in supporting pivot bosses, holes may be made so that pins are installed for fixing position of cylindrical rods relative to hydraulic prop head. EFFECT: higher bearing capacity of hydraulic prop head in section along connecting holes, reduced labor input in joint maintenance, higher productivity and safety in performance of work. 2 cl, 2 dwg
