FIELD: mining; applicable in design of roofings, cappings and guards of powered supports with extensible covers. SUBSTANCE: roofing includes a body consisting of box girders rigidly interconnected by sheets and extensible L-shaped in cross-section protective covers located from sides of roofing. Protective covers consist of rigidly interconnected upper shelves installed above roofing and side member with cylindrical sleeve rigidly built-up in roofing coaxially to hydraulic cylinder. Hole made normal to longitudinal axis of sleeve is used for connection of cylindrical sleeve by means of axle with one side of hydraulic cylinder installed in roofing normal to its longitudinal axis. The other side of hydraulic cylinder is hinged also to roofing. Cylindrical sleeve has intermediate sleeve provided with socket coaxial to longitudinal axis of hydraulic cylinder. Made normal to socket in intermediate sleeve is hole coaxial to hole in cylindrical sleeve. In said hole, axle connecting cylindrical and intermediate sleeves with rod side of hydraulic cylinder is installed. EFFECT: higher maintainability and operating reliability of roofing. 1 cl, 4 dwg
