FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and is intended for use in radio devices for television, radio broadcast and radio communication in the VHF, UHF and microwave ranges. Disclosed is a Yagi-Uda antenna which consists of a support arm on which a passive dipole - reflector is mounted, a half-wave dipole connected to a feed line and multiple passive dipoles - directors, arranged in one plane, wherein all dipoles are in the form of a Z-shaped antenna and are not short-circuited on the support arm and have dielectric insulation at points of mounting to the support arm. The Z-shaped antenna is in the form of two half-wave sections of a conductor arranged on one line and a feed line connected to the near ends of the sections of the conductor, wherein the sections of the conductor are each bent in the middle at an angle of 90 degrees in one plane but in opposite directions. The Yagi-Uda antenna is further characterised by that the distance between dipoles and their dimensions vary according to a logarithmic law.
