FIELD: vacuum cleaner accessories. SUBSTANCE: dust separating device has cyclone with outer wall, air admission opening and partition wall. During operation of dust separating device air inflow is directed into cyclone through air admission opening and from cyclone through partition wall. Air admission opening is defined by branch pipe projecting into cyclone between outer wall and partition wall in parallel with cyclone longitudinal axis. Construction of dust separating device imparts compactness to vacuum cleaner by providing connection of elbow or hose to admission opening by means of joint capable of rotating in horizontal plane and due to free motion of elbow or hose.
