FIELD: inlet valves, separators, for example for vacuum cleaners. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for transporting main fluid flow across which fluid pressure difference occurs includes inlet valve having movable member. The last includes first and second sides, means for applying pressure of fluid of upper part of flow to first side and means for applying pressure of fluid of lower part of flow to second side. Fluid pressure of upper part of flow is higher than that of lower part of flow. Apparatus has unit acting upon second side together with fluid pressure of lower part of flow in such a way that to displace movable member for opening valve and supplying taken-off fluid to main fluid flow when pressure difference between fluid pressure values of upper and lower parts of flow is less than predetermined value. Operation of inlet valve does not depend upon absolute pressure values. Apparatus may provide reliable inlet of taken off air to separator, for example in vacuum cleaner, in order to sustain minimum air flowrate and to prevent motor overheating.
