METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING FUNCTIONAL ASYMMETRY FROM BILATERAL DATA TAKEN FROM ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION PATIENTS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2151548 C1

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining dynamic motor and vegetative vascular bilateral properties with every property shown in time dependence and, separately, determining lateralization profile based on their relation in normal and pathological state and following its change on graphic image. Unambiguously lateralized values have not been observed. Guiding arm property like other properties do not determine but depend on dominating hemisphere (asymmetry lateralization law). Infinite set of bilateral properties has its representation at the level of brain hemispheres. Frequency and nature of this correspondence determine, when expressed in graphic form, the profile of individual functional asymmetry caused by constitutional genetic and social biological factors. Lateral organization profile formation law violation lets describe brain structures disintegration degree in cases of arterial hypertension that is shown to be one more pathogenesis mechanism. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis. 3 dwg
