FIELD: rocketry and space engineering; construction of spacecraft propellant compartments. SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes two tanks with common intermediate bottom. Tanks are filled with propellant components under pressure at different solidification temperature. Each tank is provided with its own bottom and heat insulation. One tank has spherical convex bottom and other tank has spherical concave provided with torus section at area where it is connected with shell. Intermediate bottom consists of two above-mentioned bottoms adjoining each other. Tanks are interconnected over outer diameter by means of load-bearing spacer. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture and tests of tanks. 2 cl, 1 dwg
