FIELD: rocketry; construction of cryogenic stages of launch vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes cylindrical mating envelope connecting the stages by coaxial scheme and locks located along perimeter of envelope. Mating envelope has mating flange on one end surface. In the vicinity of this flange ports and reinforcing fins adjoining these ports are made. Locks are mounted on mating flange in ports. ON other end surface of mating envelope there is reinforcing member for welding the envelope to toroidal tank of cryogenic stage. EFFECT: reduced mass of unit at preset working load. 1 dwg
