FIELD: mechanical engineering; metallurgy; materials hand-line facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed load grip is designed for handling sheets or slabs of aluminium alloys. Grip has crossmember with crossbar and slings with grips. Pulleys are installed on crossbar symmetrically relative to vertical axis. Wire ropes are passed over pulleys. Some ends wire ropes are secured on slings at a distance of 1/3 - 1/4 of sling length from grip, and other ends of wire ropes are connected to counterweights. Wire rope is provided with counterweight lowering limiter. EFFECT: prevention of mechanical damage to surfaces of handled articles, enhanced convenience of operation. 2 cl, 1 dwg
